Our Commitment to Caregivers and Their Loved Ones
The Michael Powell Foundation is dedicated to becoming a comprehensive, one‑stop resource for caregivers who are working tirelessly to keep their loved ones safely and comfortably at home. We understand the challenges caregivers face, and we are here to ensure they never have to navigate this journey alone.
Connecting You to Essential Resources
There is a wide range of support available for individuals living with Dementia or Alzheimer’s and adults 62+, yet many caregivers are unaware of the programs, services, and tools that can make home care possible. Our mission is to bridge that gap by providing clear, accessible information and connecting families to the resources that matter most.
Cognitive Tools That Support Quality of Life
In addition to resource navigation, we offer cognitive tools designed to keep older adults mentally engaged and stimulated. These tools help promote independence, strengthen memory, and support emotional well‑being.
Why Home Matters
Research and lived experience show that older adults often experience increased isolation and faster decline when transitioning into nursing facilities. By empowering caregivers and supporting individuals in their home environment, we help preserve dignity, connection, and quality of life.
At the Michael Powell Foundation, we believe that every person deserves compassionate support and every caregiver deserves a partner in this journey.
