
Information for Dementia/Alzheimer's
Access to the right resources can make a world of difference for Dementia/Alzheimer's patients, their families, and caregivers. Michael Powell Foundation offers support groups, support tools like memory games, tablets with music, books, and photos downloaded, educational materials, sensory activities help stimulate cognitive function and improve quality of life and to help keep your loved ones at home with family. Knowledge is power, and staying informed about Dementia/Alzheimer's care strategies enables better decision-making and emotional preparedness.
Michael Powell Foundation is a federally recognized 501(c)3 Tax exempt nonprofit organization. As such, donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
At this time, we are currently focusing on collecting donations to help families in need. We will begin our support group and support items in the fourth quarter of 2025. You can still sign up for support items and the support group, but it will not begin until the fourth quarter of 2025.

We also offer support groups every 2nd Wednesday of the month via Zoom.
We also have a Licensed Social Worker who can provide additional resources or answer any posing questions
