Our Mission
Our mission is to ensure that individuals living with Dementia/Alzheimer's and elders aged 62 and older can remain in the comfort of their homes, surrounded by the love and familiarity of their families. Through dedicated support, resources, and advocacy, we strive to create a nurturing environment that promotes dignity, connection, and quality of life.
At the Michael Powell Foundation, we take a unique and innovative approach to Dementia/Alzheimer's and elder support by providing games, puzzles, coloring books, reading materials, music, photos, and other cognitive tools designed to stimulate memory, creativity, and overall well-being — ensuring that individuals have access to enriching and comforting activities.
We also recognize the emotional and practical challenges faced by families and caregivers. That’s why we offer weekly online support groups, creating a safe and compassionate space for connection, shared experiences, and guidance. These gatherings help caregivers feel seen, supported, and empowered as they care for their loved ones.
Your love is the strongest medicine, and with your support, we can continue making a lasting difference in the lives of countless families by keeping their loved ones at home with family.
